Compliance with SQF 10 is expected to go into effect on April 1, 2026 (date not confirmed as of yet). The development team has dedicated an unprecedented amount of time and research to this upgrade. The goal is that these expanded requirements will improve how food manufacturers approach food safety.

SQF 10 is more than just a compliance update. It is stated to be a strategic framework that will provide organizations with the tools to improve their food safety systems, promote transparency, and build consumer trust in an increasingly complex global market.

Whether you are a certified site or preparing for your first certification, our discussion will cover best practices for enhancing and developing an effective program that meets the new requirements and adds value to your operations.

We will focus on leveraging feedback from previous audits, industry best practices, and applying SQFI resources to this journey. We will also discuss effective communication processes, both internal and external, related to food safety culture, continuous improvement, and managing change.

An organization’s most valuable resource is your team. We must prioritize employee competencies through training and education.

This session will share condensed best practices gained from many years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective management systems, as well as over 20 years of auditing for management system compliance.
