Conference Presentation Submission Form

The Food Safety Consortium is requesting abstracts for content to be presented during our upcoming conference Dec. 5-6, 2017 in Schaumburg, IL.

In order to be eligible for review, abstracts must comply with the following criteria:

  • Submit a 300 word abstract: Abstracts will be judged on the level of educational value they will provide to participants. Abstracts that are product and/or company focused will NOT be reviewed. If your abstract is technology-focused, please be sure to avoid the sales-pitch.
  • Lead presenters are responsible for the submission and coordination of their submission.  If the proposed presentation will include 2 or more speakers, please make sure to submit all the required information for each speaker at the time of abstract submittal.
  • Accepted abstracts will have a total presentation time of 45 minutes.  Presenters should plan on a 35 minutes session, with 10 – 15 minutes for Questions & Answers. We recommend no more than 30 slides. 

We do offer a very limited number of short, 15 minute sponsored technology presentations as part of the conference.  They will be identified as sponsored presentations and are the proper time and place for commercial presentations focused on products and features.  If we do feel that your presentation is commercial in nature, we will notify you and explain your options. 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Abstracts Due Date:  May 15, 2017

Acceptance Notification Date: July 1, 2017

Final Presentations Due: October 1, 2017

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

If your abstract is accepted for presentation, primary Speaker’s registration for the Food Safety Consortium is complimentary.

Food Safety Consortium is not responsible for any travel expenses incurred by speakers in relation to the participation at the Food Safety Consortium.
