Carolyn Fisher

Carolyn Fisher received her B.S. from Wayne State Univ. (1972) and Ph.D. from Stanford Univ. (1978). Her career moved from Research (Kalsec, 1978-1991) to Teacher (Univ.of Delaware, 1992-1996) to Book Author (Flavours: Biology & Chemistry).  At McCormick & Co., Carolyn moved from Quality Assurance (1996-2005) to Regulatory (2005-2010) to managing the electronic storage of knowledge (2011).  Currently, Carolyn is a Senior Scientist at Decernis working on the global regulatory databases that the food industry knows as gComply and gComply+. (Decernis, 2012 – present).  As an active IFT member, Carolyn is current on the Board of Directors (2015-2018).

As Director of Quality, she is responsible for providing regulatory expertise and managing systems for food product compliance across over 200 countries. Decernis has staff located around the world who are fluent in many different languages to provide regulatory compliance consulting services to clients who manufacture and/ or export food products around the world.  Prior to working with Decernis, Christie worked as a food regulatory compliance subject matter expert for Deloitte & Touche LLP and a Manager of Science Policy for Food Labeling and Standards with Grocery Manufacturers Association.

Amin joined SpecPage in 2016 to manage implementation projects. Furthermore, he is the regulatory advisor of SpecPage. He also supports the Singapore subsidiary thanks to his good Chinese know-how and local expertise. In his previous position, he worked for more than 10 years as regulatory affairs manager at Chocolat Frey, a Swiss export-oriented chocolate manufacturer. Here, he has gained a vast expertise in labelling and regulatory matters across the European, American and Asian markets. Amin graduated in Food Engineering from the ETH Zürich, Switzerland, and speaks fluently five languages.

Milan came to SpecPage in 2016 to lead the US Professional Services team. In his previous tenures (DATUM division leader at AFS Technologies, MDS business unit leader at Gladson), he was responsible for master data management initiatives and data synchronization solutions with strategic alignment and compliance to GS1 standard specifications. Milan coordinated cross-functional teams (business, sales, marketing, services, support and development) to align the product roadmap with corporate strategies, and to drive execution. Milan has been a long-time participant in the development of global standards managed by GS1. Milan holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Komensky University Bratislava, Slovakia.
